The client contacted us upon power failure to the pumping station. Our engineers investigated and found that the roof had deteriorated causing water ingress to the meter and control panel, meaning that the electrical equipment had failed. 

We contacted UKPN to disconnect the supply to prevent any further damage or harm to the client and our engineers. Following on from the disconnection we spoke to the client we suggested installing a generator as the water levels were high. This was to prevent any further flooding to the land. 

To prepare for a long term solution we sat down with the customer and arranged for a new low maintenance electrical cabinet to be installed to prevent this happening again. 

Half way through the installation Beccles had a tidal surge causing the marshes to flood. We acted promptly, liaising with the customer we  installed 2x 6inch diesel pumps to help keep up with the flows.
