 At D.C Hunt Engineers, we understand the critical role that motors and pumps play in various industries, from manufacturing to agriculture, and even in residential settings. Our motor and pump service is designed to ensure that your systems operate at peak performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. Depending on the system dictates the service period, this could be anything from 6 months to bi yearly. All of the following are also included in the full service where applicable. 

On our treatment plants we provide the following specifics when carrying out a mechanical service. Full belt inspection/replacement at extra cost. Bearing health check and lubrication if needed. Cog and Gear inspection and cleaning. 

A blower / vacuum pump is the heart of certain types of sewage treatment plants. It enables the transportation of sewage and helps the health of the bacteria.  On these we carry out the following checks: Oil level checks, Oil replacement, filter checks/replacement, vacuum hose condition check and valve checks.

A full electrical check is carried out on all electrical equipment inside the unit. These include things like switches, pumps, blowers, vacuum's, relays, contactors. 

Where required we will de-sludge and pump out bio media and solids holding compartment. Bio media is the part of the treatment plant that holds the bacteria enabling them to break down the effluent.
